You are most sincerely welcome in our newly constructed hotel. Here, you’ll find relaxation, tranquillity and an abundance of fresh Appenzell air. Our restaurant is just right to while away leisurely hours in intimate company. The hotel’s function rooms can be opened festively to accommodate gatherings of up to 120 persons, or divided for groups of 40 and 70 persons. Hearty, home-cooked dishes with the emphasis on Appenzell and seasonal specialities is served in our handicapped accessible guest lounges and function rooms. The village of Appenzell lies below you. Our sun terrace (840 metres a.s.l.) affords incomparable vistas across the wide valley of Appenzell with its delightful hilly landscape. When the shimmering-gold sun gradually sets in the west and darkness slowly draws over the village of Appenzell below you, it only remains for the twinkling stars above and the lights in the valley to compete with one another.
